Hi! I'm Maximilian Bieleke, a 25-year-old Berlin-based software engineer with a passion for programming and computer science. I thrive on solving complex problems and building innovative solutions. This website is where you can explore more about my work and projects.
Beyond the world of code, I enjoy various sporting activities like bouldering and running, always looking for new challenges—both physically and mentally. Software Engineering
Since my university days, I have been passionate about web development. Throughout my career, I have gained experience with various web technologies and frameworks, working with all major front-end frameworks, including Angular, Vue.js, and React.
Currently, I primarily work with Next.js and React at my main employer, DB Systel GmbH, where I am part of a web development team. In addition to front-end development, I also focus on backend technologies and CI/CD processes.
My passion for IT and computer science started early in school, and even outside of work, I am always eager to explore new technology trends and innovations. I love learning and constantly strive to improve my skills and knowledge in programming and software development.
Mentoring
In addition to my role as a software engineer, I take on the responsibility of mentoring students at Deutsche Bahn. I regularly support students during their practical internships as part of the dual study program, guiding them through the fundamentals of web development in large-scale projects.
My goal is to help them deepen their understanding of core computer science concepts while providing hands-on experience in real-world applications. Sharing knowledge and experience is something I truly enjoy and value.

Backend
Although my primary focus is on frontend development, my work frequently involves backend and full-stack development. Over the course of my career, I have gained extensive experience with various backend technologies. Currently, I am deepening my knowledge of Event Sourcing with scala, through a hospitation with our backend team in the project.

Operations

I primarily use the GitLab platform for continuous integration and rely on services like Portainer and Kubernetes to deploy applications. In addition, my work has provided me with valuable experience working with OpenShift and AWS.
